Dec 10, 2010 · I have owned or leased about 35 XJ Cherokees since 1984 with all the variations of the 4.0L six, mileage in the 16 to 21 range is about the norm. Believe me the 21 MPG is an extreme with good gas, correct tire pressure, level highway driving and maintaining the speed at 60MPH or less, needless to say but you won't see 21 mpg very often!!!
Jul 20, 2022 · Jeep Grand-Cherokee's are a smooth ride. The gas mileage is also really good for a Jeep. As opposed to the Wranglers, this car has great pick up as well. There is an auxiliary cord set up and the stock speakers are amazing, especially the base. The trunk is also very spacious for ample storage for road tripping.
